The Department of Health Abu Dhabi — the body that was called HAAD for years, and which many people still search for under that name — licenses health professionals in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, the largest of the seven and home to some of the country’s referral hospitals. A Dubai DHA licence does not permit practice here: different emirates, different regulators, and moving between them is an application, not an inheritance.
